As silly as that rule reads, could it then be sillier by classing the hosing down of a horse after a hot, long float trip upon arrival at the meeting, as water treatment.
The rules states "cold water treatment". I guess that means YES.

That's a ridiculous interpretation of the rule. Obviously the rule is in place to stop trainers giving their horse a bit of a drink of water pre-race.
