Only 1 foal this season and exactly what was ordered, a buckskin filly from our Mach three mare soho Leigh, her first foal which I'm very happy with especially with the dams full brother coming along nicely in the hall camp, one of the nicest damlines colour has been bred from recently, just cross the fingers she gets her ability from the bay side
Very cute Monique, Congrats!!
Thanks, she shared an edition of nsw harness breeders newsletter with kept for pleasures colt and lady lexus's filly I'm hoping that's a good omen
You are certainly dedicated to adding some colour to the track Monique and giving a coloured stallion a chance with a well bred mare deserves some luck.
She certainly looks like her dad

Can only hope, I don't see any point in breeding at all unless it's from quality but when it comes to colour even more so as they have so much to overcome, on type she takes mostly after mum a bit fine and elegant but plenty of muscle whereas dad is tall and rangey with pretty heavy bone, colour is all from dad though, very happy we just got plain buckskin without the pinto I think it detracts from the gold of the buckys, now just to breed a Pali a few years down the track and the coloured team will be complete lol
She's gorgeous, sorry Who's the sire?
Sorru going to go off track here, but have often wanted to breed a stb with a qtr horse or ash to get the nature of the stb but the thickness/ass and some cow sense from the qh or ash...not a common cross but being involved in both the stb industry and cattle industry I've always considered it...has anyone seen or done this?
