Good luck with the fillies big k hope they keep getting stronger ,at the moment three of us are waiting for our mare to foal at Yirabee its taken 5 years and a lot of money to get her this close to a foal .My old mans pretty excited and hes 85 and like a kid , we"ll be off to Wagga as soon as we get the news

Its been a while since I was on the forum. our breeding season is done for the yesr with 8 foals born, and 1 dead.

Vincents look pretty good. We had a couple of maiden mares foal to him-they started small but took off after a few days. Our oldest foal is a Vincent and is huge- very bossy, has bitten and double barrelled since day dot.



A good season in terms of getting mares in foal too - pays to start early as later in the season, positive rate dropped

Just been reading the 2019/20 Sires fertility report and noticed a few things. I am not alleging any wrong doings by anyone.


HurriKane Kingcole 120 mares served, 39 mares died.
Roll With Joe 120 mares served, 60 mares died.
Sweet Lou 218 mares served, 48 mares died.
What The Hill CA 37 mares served, 20 mares died.

** I just had a look at last years figures and I'm sure that HRA have mixed up the "Mares Missed" and the "Mares Died" columns in this years reports. Hope they can fix it or confirm the figures.

I have sent HRA an email so hopefully they can correct the figures. I am surprised that nobody had noticed the huge number of dead mares !

HRA has fixed the error now. Still waiting for a thank you from them. Lucky the animal activists didn't see the incorrect figures !
